Brecksville Recreation/Center Court Tennis
We are excited to announce we have partnered with Center Court Tennis to offer youth tennis lessons through the Brecksville Recreation Department this summer. Classes will be held at the outdoor courts located by the BBH Middle School on Mill Road.
RED FLAMES 7-9 Year Olds - For kids who are new to the game. Juniors learn fundamentals of tennis through a mix of fun skills practice and games.
Orange 10-12 Year Olds - Advanced beginners continue to develop skills wo rally the ball, play points, and keep score. For kids with 1-2 years of clinic experience that are strengthening rally and service skills. Must be able to maintain a short rally, serve and keep score.
Tennis 101 and 202 Ages 13-18 Year Olds -
101: This class is designed for Middle School and High School Students who are just learning to play.
201: This class is for players who are seeking to play on their High School Tennis Teams. Players must have completed Tennis 101 or have pro approval. Must be able to maintain a rally and serve. Players are encouraged to participate in match play.
Program Policies
*Participants must provide their own racquet. Junior rackets are recommended for 6-7 year olds.
*Class participant to instructor ratios will be limited to provide optimum instruction per participant.
*If weather is inclement, call 546-2300, hour before class to determine whether class will be held outdoors, or possibly up at the Center Court Tennis Facilities
*Rainouts will be scheduled for Fridays, or possibly held at the Center Court Tennis Facilities.
*No refunds are available. Credits only are given.
*A cancellation fee may be charged if withdrawn within one week of class.
