Girls Pigtail Softball Current Grade 6-8
Kids will be pitching in this modified fast pitch league. Full softball uniforms are furnished and kept by the participant at the end of the season. Teams play a 10-12 game season. Games are played Monday through Friday between 6:00pm and 10:00pm and occasionally on Saturdays. The game season begins the week before Memorial Day and will be completed by the middle of July. Practices are schedule to begin the middle of April.
General Registration Requirements/Guidelines
*Space is limited, please register early.
*Payment is required in full at time of registration.
*There is a discount for Brecksville residents who register three or more children from the same family for the same program at the same time.
*Special requests for team and player placement will not be guaranteed.
*No Refunds. Credits only will be given. A $5.00 cancellation fee will be assessed if uniforms have already been ordered.
*Late Fee. A late fee of $10.00 will be implemented for anyone registering after the registration deadline. (Late registration dependent upon space availability).
All parents/adults must abide by the NAYS Code of Ethics for Parents and Adults
*I hereby pledge to provide positive support, care, and encouragement for my child participating in youth sports by following this Parents Code of Ethics:
*I will encourage good sportsmanship by demonstrating positive support for all players, coaches, and officials at every game, practice or other youth sports event.
*I will place the emotional and physical well being of my child ahead of my personal desire to win.
*I will insist that my child play in a safe and healthy environment.
*I will require that my childs coach be trained in the responsibilities of being a youth sports coach and that the coach upholds the Coaches Code of Ethics.
*I will support coaches and officials working with my child, in order to encourage a positive and enjoyable experience for all.
*I will demand a sports environment for my child that is free from drugs, tobacco and alcohol and will refrain from their use at all youth sports events.
*I will remember that the game is for youth - not adults.
*I will do my very best to make youth sports fun for my child.
*I will ask my child to treat other players, coaches, fans and officials with respect regardless of race, sex, creed or ability.
*I will help my child enjoy the youth sports experience by doing whatever I can, such as being a respectful fan, assisting with coaching, or providing transportation.
