Mindfully Made Art with Mandy - 334663

Mandy Spisak is an artist and art instructor from Cleveland, Ohio. She received her BFA from
the Cleveland Institute of Art with a focus in painting and enameling. She is a passionate
upcyclist creating mosaics with wallpaper and fabric. She also creates enameled copper jewelry
and ornaments.
Mandy has spent her career instructing kids and adults in a variety of mediums at local art
centers and studios. She loves sharing her enthusiasm for upcycled materials and how to create
works of art that are beautiful and sustainable.
Her work is shown in galleries and boutiques located throughout the state of Ohio and
surrounding areas. She is the owner of Retro Revival, an antique restoration and art studio
located in Valley View, Ohio.

Using different resist techniques with watercolor allows one to save white space on the paper as well as create interesting textures.
